Comparative data on equality and accessibility for disabled people in European countries

Policy makers will require new kinds of data to monitor implementation of the UN Convention and the European Disability Action Plan priorities. ANED aims to increase understanding about comparative data that can be used for disability research and policy development in Europe. Disability should be mainstreamed in data collection and access to such data should be widely available. During 2008 we examined existing sources of comparative data and produced an annotated report on relevant European social surveys and statistical data sources.
